His service is 1:00 PM, Thursday, June 3, 2021 at First Missionary Baptist Church Belgrade 561 Spring Hill Road, Belgrade Community of Maysville, NC.

He is survived by his wife, Bessie P. Sanders of the home; four daughters, Cynthia R. McKinney of Jacksonville, NC, Patricia D. Didier of Tennessee, Jacqueline Y. Sanders of Fayetteville, NC and Dynasia T. Sanders of California; three sisters, Nanette Sanders-Cobb of New Bern; Arlene Sanders of Brooklyn, NY and Ruth Sparrow of Conroe, TX; eight grandchildren.
