Percy Jones Sr. of Birmingham passed away May 24, 2021.
Homegoing celebration will be held 11AM Thurs. June 3, 2021 at Bushelon Funeral Chapel with burial at Alabama National Cemetery.

To the Jones Family We take this time to express our personal condolences to the family of Percy Jones. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends during this hour of great sadness. As difficult as this time may be, there is true light at the end of the tunnel. God is the source of this light. He has provided His inspired writings to share Good News of His wonderful blessings that will soon take place earth wide. One such promise is the restoring of life back to those who have died. In fact to families like the Jones, and others families that have lost anyone in death, God wants all to haver a clear understanding as to what will surely take place. At John 5:28-29 God tells us that He would call to those in the grave to stand up in life again. This text serves as a personal guarantee that the resurrection to life will take place. Yes soon the effects of sin and death will be removed from the entire earth. Instead of saying good-bye to our love ones, we will welcome them back to life on earth again. This arrangement will be possible because God is the source of life for all creative things. ( Psalm 36:9) Yes what outstanding love God has for us. He has promised to rid the earth of all sicknesses and death. ( Revelation 21:3-4) Again we have much to look forward to. Until this arrangement takes place, we can use this time to learn all that we can about the resurrection blessing from God. Here is just one such example that is recorded at John 11:32-44. I hope that all will get a chance to see how these verses apply to Percy, and to others who await their resurrection from God. So please keep this promise of God near your hearts at all times. Remember that when God makes a promise, it becomes reality. For God does not lie. ( Titus 1:2)
