MR. LIME STACY UPSHAW, SR. – AGE 45, of Chickamauga, Georgia passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021 from injuries received from a vehicle accident. He attended Ridgeland High School and was a member of Marble Top Baptist Church. He was last employed with Nissan Brakes. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford LeRoy Upshaw and Mary Ann Clemons Upshaw; grandson, Lime Stacy Upshaw, III; two sisters, Lynn Mason, Tampa Upshaw; brother, Lawson Upshaw; nephew, Joshua Fleetwood and niece, Tonique Gunter.

Survivors are his wife of 7 years, Sharon Ann Smothers Upshaw; sons, Lime Stacy (Danielle) Upshaw, Jr., Matthew Upshaw of Rossville, GA; Raquann Stowe of Chattanooga, TN; daughters, Chanity Upshaw, MaLeah Upshaw, Mia Stowe, Tamara Upshaw, Madison Massey of Chattanooga, TN; Jaylee Morris of LaFayette, GA; Majestic Mitchell of Fort Payne, AL; step-children, Brittany Smothers, Raven Lumpkin, Mariah Montgomery of Fort Oglethorpe, GA, and Bridgette (Jose) Sontay of LaFayette, GA; 18 grandchildren, sisters, Mary Chaney, Penny Strickland, Channel (David) Alexander, Sr., and Elizabeth Knox of Chickamauga, GA; and Janice Johnson of Chattanooga, TN; brothers, Columbus (Denise) Upshaw, Sr., Roy Gene Upshaw of Chattanooga, TN; Roger Upshaw of Chickamauga, GA; sisters-in-law, Darlene (Carl) Jones, Charlene (Mike) Jackson, Tammy Smothers, of LaFayette, GA; brothers-in-law, King Mason, Sr. of Chattanooga, TN; Randy Smothers, Lamar Smothers of LaFayette, GA; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends; a special thank you to Mrs. Jennifer Lacey.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 05, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Marble Top Baptist Church, 7131 North Marble Top Road, Chickamauga, GA with Minister King Mason, Sr. and Pastor Clint Waller officiating. Family will receive visitors and friends on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Marble Top Baptist Church. He will lie in state an hour before funeral services begin at the church. Interment, Garmany Cemetery. Following the guidelines of COVID-19, the family is enforcing that all attendees wear a mask and practice social distancing.
