Obituary For Bobby Lindsey

Bobby Lindsey was born October 2, 1965 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Robert Lindsey and Ellen Lindsey.

​He graduated from Warren County High School. After high school Bobby proudly served his country in the United States Army. In July of 1990 he married the love of his life the late Jedonia Allen Lindsey. Unto this union they raised 3 children Christiana, Thearon, and Brandon. Bobby traveled the country as truck driver retiring from AirGas. Bobby was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, and friend. ​

​Bobby departed this life on Sunday, May 30, 2021. He is survived by his mother Mrs. Ellen Lindsey, of Warrenton, GA, Mother-in-law Mrs. Betty Harris of Augusta GA, his three children Christiana (Reginald) Gilstrap of Covington, GA, Thearon (Shari) Taylor, and Brandon L. Lindsey both of Augusta, GA., ten sisters: Betty Lindsey of Warrenton, GA, Belinda Lindsey of Augusta, GA, Andel Robertson of Augusta, GA, Catherine (Tony) Brown of Montgomery AL, Millie (Brian) Snowden of Lithonia, GA, Teresa (William) Canady of Washington, NC, Catherine (Jeff) Burch of Catersville, NJ, Ann (Stephen) Lindsey and Jeanett (James) Pickett both of Virginia Beach, VA. Two Brothers: Ronnie (Patsy) Lindsey of Thompson, GA and Danny (Teresa) Franklin of Newark, DE. Brother-In-law Erick (Belen) Harris of Augusta, GA, Two Aunts: Annie Brown, of Warrenton, GA and Elizabeth Kendrick of Florida. Devoted friend and father figure Mr. Everett Carter, 6 grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Kingdom Gospel Church, 2420 Norfolk Street, Augusta, GA 30906. W. H. Mays Mortuary, 1221 James Brown Boulevard, Augusta, GA 30901 (706)722-6401.
