Obituary For Joanne Boykin

Mrs. Joanne Peterson Boykin, age 79 of Hillsborough, NC formerly of Garland, NC departed this life on May 18, 2021.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 29th at 2:00 PM in the Summerville-Boykin Mortuary Chapel with the burial following at Garland Community Cemetery.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, May 29th from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at the home of Lula Peterson,114 Jackson Avenue Garland, NC.

Joanne is survived by: son, Eric Joel Boykin; daughter, Carmen C. Johnson; aunt, Lula Peterson; uncle, Ben Peterson; three grandchildren, Chelce Johnson, Anthony Johnson and Isaiah Hughes; four great grandchildren, Elijah, Jae, Jayla and Emmanuel Johnson and a host of other relatives and friends.
