MR. CLIFFORD TILLMAN

Clifford Sarvon Tillman entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 19, 2021, at the young age of 60 years old. Clifford was born February 2, 1961, in Wadesboro, NC to Margaret Tillman and Ben Wall. Cliff attended the public schools of North Carolina before graduating from Bowman High School, Class of 1979. Cliff worked many years, in many different facets before making his work home of 20 or more years with Premiere Fibers in Ansonville, NC. Clifford was a God-fearing man! He attended Empower Outreach Ministry of Monroe, NC, where he served as an Elder. Cliff loved his family and friends! He had a heart of pure gold! He has touched so many lives with his love and kind spirit. He was simply an extraordinary person with a big smile. Clifford leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Bernadette Tillman; his mother, Margaret Tillman; his father, Ben Wall (Stella); his children, Tiffany Kirby of Wadesboro, Shequita Melton also of Wadesboro, Kimeo Little of Concord, and Irene Little of Wingate; his grandchildren, Makayla Teal, Jaleel Melton, Torravion Burns, Heavenly Burns, Tremaine Burns, and Harmony Burns; his sisters, Vanessa Morrison of Wadesboro, Deborah Byrd (Edward) of Wadesboro, Carolyn Lotharp of Wadesboro, Sherin Richardson of Winston Salem, and Annie Boney of Goldsboro, his brothers, Mitchell Huntley (Nia) of Wadesboro, Maurice Leak of New York, and Eddie Lisenby of Winston Salem; his brothers and sisters – not in law, but in love, Zesta Gaddy (Marchandra), Tonia Gaddy, Tyrone Davis (Angel), and Zondia Gaddy; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins who truly loved him.

The Homegoing Services were held on Friday, March 26, 2021, 12:00 noon, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment followed in the family plot of the Flakes Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, Wadesboro, North Carolina.
