Obituary For Ms. Elois Little-Rivers

Ms. Elois Little Rivers, the daughter of the late Annie E. Little, was born September 25, 1965 in Chesterfield County, SC. She peacefully departed this life and transitioned to her eternal rest on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Atrium Health-Union County Hospice, Monroe, NC.

Elois received her education from the Anson County School System and graduated from Bowman Senior High.

She confessed Christ at a young age and was a member of Gatewood Station AME Zion Church, Morven, NC. She served faithfully as an Usher until her health failed.

Eloise was preceded in death by her mother, “Her Queen,” Annie Little.

Her love and inspiration will forever be etched in the hearts of her survivors.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her two daughters, Anjeanetta (Travis) and baby girl, Sherneka (Ryan) both of Wadesboro, NC. Her six grandchildren whom she loved as her own, her “Teddy Bear” Travis Jr., Major, Ryan Jr., Payton, Janiyah, and Aubri. Her twin sister, Elaine Hall of the home. One brother, Edward (Joletha) Little of Wadesboro, NC. Two special godsisters, Atha Mae Simon and Shirley Allen both of Wadesboro, NC. Two nieces who were always by her side, Eukyta Little and Whitney Little who cared for her nightly. Two nephews, Kharvalius and Damion. A very special best friend, Louis Rivers Jr. Special godchildren, Somone, Karisma, Cedrina, Keith, and Carl, Jr. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Memorial Service to honor the life and contributions of Ms. Rivers was held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, 1:00pm, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina.
