Obituary For Daniel Wright, Jr.

Daniel Wright, Jr. β€œLoppy”, 51, of Harrisburg, peacefully transitioned into eternal life on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at UPMC Harrisburg Hospital. He was born in Harrisburg, son of Daniel Wright, Sr. and the late Joann V. Nash Wright and a graduate of Steelton-Highspire High School.

He was reared in Beulah Baptist Church and in recent years attended Full Harvest Ministries which is pastored by his best friend, Reverend Brandon Madden.

Loppy, as he was affectionately called, leaves to celebrate his life his daughters, Tonjanika D. Heyward and Shyniece D. Wright; his father, Dan Wright, Sr.; his brother, Raymond Allen; his sisters, Danielle Pamela Mosley, Denise P. Wright, Jeanette V. Wright, Adrian V. Wright and Dorothy McDowell; his four grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

His life will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 7 in the Chapel of Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, 704 N. Front Street, Steelton, PA 17113 with a viewing from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and burial in William Howard Day Cemetery.

COVID-19 Guidelines will be observed with face masks and social distancing for all attendees.
