Mitchelene Hooten Jenkins,60, of New Bern died Thursday, June 3, 2021 at her residence.

Viewing hours are Friday, June 11, 2021 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Oscar's Mortuary.

Her service is 1:00 PM, Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Burning Bush United Holy Church. The interment will follow at the Sylvia Barfield Memorial Cemetery, Vanceboro.

She is survived by her sons, Aaron Crawford, Tucson, AZ, Terrence Hooten, New Bern, Devante Jenkins, California; daughter, Diamond Jenkins, Greenville, NC; brother, Frankie Hooten, New Bern; sister, Magdalene Williams, New Bern; two grandchildren.
