Over 18 years ago I met (Miss) Audrey at a Omega Psi Phi cook out in Gastonia. Her "welcome" to me was so refreshing, I almost couldn't believe she was that nice. But as fate would have it, she became my son Makhi's caregiver, cook, driver, tutor, mom and grandmother. Over the years, we keep in touch by phone and on January 1, 2020 she surprised us with a visit. I always told her I loved her, and appreciated her for nurturing my son when he needed it the most. I wish you God's speed on your new journey Audrey, and I pray you are happy and at peace. I am so grateful that the Most High allowed us to witness what LOVE and SERVICE without condition nor motive looks like in person. You will truly be missed!

I remember the last time that Willet, Debra Rendleman, and I were together to celebrate our birthdays in August 2020 at Longhorn Steak House. We all were happy, ate good, and shared good moments being the August ladies. She was gifted with being able to decorate so beautifully and did not mind sharing her ideas. A caring and loving person that loved her children, grandchild family, and friends. She will be deeply missed. To the family continue to keep her smile and good spirit in your hearts.
