Obituary For Delgracia C. Thompkins

Delgracia C. Thompkins, 54, passed away, from natural causes, at her residence, on May, 26, 2021. Delgracia was born in Augusta, Georgia, on November 28, 1966, to Edwin Thompkins and the late Barbara Jean Jones Thompkins. Delgracia attended public schools in Miami, Florida. She continued her education at Lindsey Hopkins Technical Education Center, Miami, Florida (1991). She held certification and professional licenses for LPN from Florida Board of Nursing. She received additional training and certification from Training For Life, Augusta, Georgia. She had a multi-state license. As a licensed practical nurse, Delgracia worked at several health facilities in Augusta, Ga and Aiken, S.C. She was currently employed at Training for Life as a teacher assistant. Delgracia attended Elim Baptist Church. Delgracia leaves to carry on her legacy: son, Artavious Rhoshod Thompkins; grandchildren, Amaya Riley, Artavious, Jr., Aviel, Ariya and Doranisha Thompkins; Father, Edwin Thompkins; sister, Anneesha Jones; brothers, TaSheem and Tommy Smith. Aunts, uncles, host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held Friday, July 9, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at W. H. Mays Mortuary.

Final interment will be held in Miami, Florida. W. H. Mays Mortuary, 1221 James Brown Boulevard, Augusta, Georgia 30901 (706)722-6401.
