Ceciline Ionie Smith Reynolds,85, of New York, NY died Friday, June 4, 2021 at Courtyards at Bern Village, New Bern.

The family service will be held at a later date.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Morris Powell, Burlington, NC and Michele Morris, Havelock, NC; son, Herbert Reynolds, New York; one sister, Lillian Smith of Jamaica; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

My condolences to the family. Aunt Sis has been a part of my life for 57 years and a part of my mother's life for well over 60 years. How ironic that these two best friends Aunt Sis and my beloved mother would go on to glory just 8 days apart. Love you both. May God's peace be with you until we meet again.
