Obituary For Marquel "Tre" Cummings

Marquel “Tre” Cummings, 25, of Eden, NC died June 3,2021. A public viewing will be held Friday, June 11, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Perry- Spencer Funeral Home Eden, NC. A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Perry- Spencer Funeral Home, Eden, NC.

Marquel “Tre” Shown Cummings, son of Tameka Cummings and William Hampton was born August 1, 1995, in Eden, NC. “Tre” unexpectedly departed this life, Thursday, June 3, 2021. “Tre”, as everyone knew him by, never met a stranger. He befriended everyone, no matter what walk of life they came from. Tre grew up in Eden, NC and he had a love for anything that had to do with being outside. Whether he was fishing, four-wheeling or riding dirt bakes, just as long as it was outside. That’s where he truly found his joy. Most importantly Tre loved the Lord. “Tre” was preceded in death by his grandmother, Doris Jackson, great grandmother, Helen Cummings, great grandfather, Joseph “Joe Bill” Cummings, great uncles, Freddy “Denny” Cummings, Jairus Cummings and brother, Jairus Cummings.

Here on earth to honor Tre’s memory: mother; Tameka Cummings of the home, father; William Hampton of Thomasville, NC, grandmother; Rene Dillard of Eden, NC, grandfather; Robert Dillard of Eden, NC, grandfather; Alphonso Hampton of Eden, NC, brother; Kenai Hampton of the home, sister; Atiqua Dillard of the home, uncles; Chad Malloy of Bethany, NC and Anthony Hampton “Jab” of Reidsville, NC, aunt; Kenya Austin of Eden, NC, cousins; Rella Bruce, Tesha Blackwell, Eric Cummings, Jamere Dillard and Jenisys Bridges all of Eden, NC, best friends; Cory Smith and DeShawn Hairston, girlfriend; Crystal Crowder, special aunt; “Shae Boogy and a host of other relatives and friends.

I know this bro, you had issues and struggles like we all do. But bro I you have a real heart and I am so glad we met regardless of anything.
