Marquel “Tre” Cummings, 25, of Eden, NC died June 3,2021. A public viewing will be held Friday, June 11, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Perry- Spencer Funeral Home Eden, NC. A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Perry- Spencer Funeral Home, Eden, NC.

Marquel “Tre” Shown Cummings, son of Tameka Cummings and William Hampton was born August 1, 1995, in Eden, NC. “Tre” unexpectedly departed this life, Thursday, June 3, 2021. “Tre”, as everyone knew him by, never met a stranger. He befriended everyone, no matter what walk of life they came from. Tre grew up in Eden, NC and he had a love for anything that had to do with being outside. Whether he was fishing, four-wheeling or riding dirt bakes, just as long as it was outside. That’s where he truly found his joy. Most importantly Tre loved the Lord. “Tre” was preceded in death by his grandmother, Doris Jackson, great grandmother, Helen Cummings, great grandfather, Joseph “Joe Bill” Cummings, great uncles, Freddy “Denny” Cummings, Jairus Cummings and brother, Jairus Cummings.
