Costella (Cosmo) Witcher, 54, of Eden, North Carolina departed this life on Saturday, June 5, 2021 and transitioned from her earthly home to her heavenly home. Costella was born to William C. Witcher and Mildred N. McCain on December 13,1966 in Franklin County, Virginia. Costella was preceded in death by her father the late William C. Witcher and her nephew, Master Anijhae T. Brown.

Costella leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Antoine H. Witcher of Eden, North Carolina; one daughter, Jasmine E. Witcher of Reidsville, North Carolina; a loving mother, Mildred McCain (Freddie) of Eden, North Carolina; two brothers, William Witcher and Nathaniel Witcher (Felease) both of Eden, North Carolina; one sister, Natasha Witcher Brown of Reidsville, North Carolina; one granddaughter, Gabrielle Spencer of Eden, North Carolina; one grandson, Gabriel Husk of Eden, North Carolina; 5 special friends; Vickie Hampton-Blackstock, Lymandie Allen, Robin Rucker, Kisha Wade and April Wade; and also, a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and other relatives and friends.

Costella was a 1985 graduate of Morehead High School. She was employed by Rock Ten in Martinsville, Virginia until her health declined. She had a passion for painting homes.

Costella was a kindhearted, giving person and always saw the best in everyone. She gave to everyone that crossed her path who was in need. She did not mind giving her last to make sure others had. She was such a nurturing and loving person. Costella was instrumental in nursing others back to health. She was also an outspoken person and a quick thinker. She proved to be a survivor and a conqueror. Many knew her as a comic, a small firecracker and always the life of every party. Costella never complained about anything, and she always saw the best in everyone! She taught us how to know when to hold on and when to let go.
