Obituary For Ms. Georgennie Dumas

Ms. Georgennie Dumas, more affectionately known as “Gina” was born March 12, 1948, to the late Joe Dumas and Lena Mae Buckner Dumas. Gina possessed captivating personality; once you met her, you could never forget her. She loved her family, friends, and all that encountered her. Ms. Georgennie passion for cooking and dancing was known by all that visited Past Time Grill where she was employed for many years. If you ever had the opportunity to spend time with her sitting on the porch or lived in the neighborhood then you knew that every time the BEAT dropped Georgennie was up and dancing. She truly enjoyed life and lived it to its fullest. Georgennie’s mission on earth was completed on Sunday May 30, 20201, when God sent his angels for her. Her sisters Elizabeth Dumas, Dorothy Fallings, brothers, Larry Dumas and Charlie Dumas, precedes her in death.

Georgennie’s legacy will live on in the hearts of her four daughters Casandra Dumas of Barnesville, Diana Dumas of Woodbury, Linda Dumas of Barnesville, and Jennifer Dumas-Rogers of Manchester. One son Craig Dumas of Barnesville, one sister-in-law Ms. Marie Dumas of Atlanta, ten grandkids, eleven great-grandkids and a host of relatives and friends that will miss her dearly.

Graveside Service was held Saturday, June 5, 2021 1:00 P.M. O’Neal Cemetery
