Obituary For Bettie Lytrez Weaver

Bettie Lytrez Chapman Weaver,81, of Oxford formerly of New Bern died Friday, June 4, 2021 in Oxford, NC.

Viewing hours are 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Oscar' s Mortuary.

Her service is 1:00 PM, Thursday, June 17, 2021 at New Bern Memorial Cemetery followed by the interment.

She is survived by her daughter, Karyn Hargett, Jacksonville, NC; son, Clifford Weaver, Newton Grove, NC; brother, Kenneth Keyes, Illinois; seven grandchildren.

Masks are required. Chairs are limited, please bring a chair.

I met Trez in the early 1990's at work and she instantly was my friend. Trez was funny, sweet, clever, kind, thoughtful, and energetic. She brought such joy and laughter to the Durham office it was as though the sun came from behind the clouds whenever she came in from Henderson.
