To the Smith Family We take this time to express our personal condolences to the family of Estella Smith. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends during this time of great sadness. Yes this is a time period when we are all in need of getting words of comfort and encouragement. I know that many will be there for you. We must also remember that God will also be there for you. As the scriptures states, God is a God of tender mercy and comfort for people everywhere.( 2 Corinthians 1:3-4) On this day God is providing the Smith family theses words of encouragement. Directing your attention to the scriptures, please take note of this wonderful promise from God. God tells us at John 5:28-29 that He would soon call to those in the grave to stand up in life again. Can you envision this arrangement taking place? Do you see yourself being reunited back with your many family members and friends who have fallen asleep in death? Well this is what God is telling us would take place. Reading the nine accounts in the Bible that speaks about the resurrection blessing helps to build up our faith in this promise blessing from God. Here is just o ne such example recorded at Acts 9:36-42. I hope that all will get a chance to see how these verses apply to Estella, and a great host of others who have fallen asleep in death. So please keep this promise of God near your hearts at all times. Remember that when God makes a promise , it becomes reality. For God does not lie.( Titus 1:2)
