Obituary For Larry Johnson

Larry Johnson, 58, passed away Saturday afternoon, June 5th, 2021, at MUSC Health Lancaster Medical Center in Lancaster, SC. He was born September 20, 1962, in Lancaster County South Carolina. He was the son of the late Robert and Almeta Pratt Johnson.

Larry was married to Carolyn Regina Brown Johnson.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of Lancaster, SC; three sons, Joshua Davon Watson of Gastonia, NC, De’Vante J. Johnson of Denver, NC and KeSean R. Johnson of Lancaster, SC; three sisters, Carolyn (William) Oree and Rosemary Johnson of Lancaster, SC, and Betty (Randy) Clyburn of Monroe, NC; one brother, Aaron Johnson of Bennettsville, SC.

Funeral Service will be 12:00 Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Stewart Funeral Home in Heath Springs, South Carolina. Services will be conducted by Pastor Pamela Williams with burial in the Gethsemane Baptist Church Cemetery.

Viewing will be 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 11, 2021, at Stewart Funeral Home.

This is really hard for me to post, but I know Larry was a good man. I'm his oldest son Joshua Davon Watson's mother and just recently gotten the message that he had passed. Yes, this was a great blow, cause I and Larry have always been friends and my heart goes out to the Johnson family for your loss.
