MR. JOHN THOMAS DAVIS, JR, affectionately called “John John,” was born October 3, 1971 in Mecklenburg County, VA to Nancy Mae Evans and John Thomas Davis and departed this life suddenly, June 6, 2021 in South Hill, VA. He was preceded in death by his sister, Cassandra Bullock.

At an early age he was baptized at Jerusalem Temple United Holiness Church, Boydton, VA.

He attended Thomas Jefferson High School and later received his GED.

He was married to Joyce Richardson on December 15, 2000. “John John” was employed by McDonald’s and was also a Computer Tech Specialist.

He leaves to mourn his wife, Joyce Richardson Davis of Boydton, VA; two sons- Terrail Jennings and LaRick White, both of Richmond, VA; two step-children, April M. (Chris) Boyd, Tuscaloosa, AL and Rishawn (Jasmine) Richardson of Creedmoor, NC; five grandchildren; mother-Nancy Murrow, Richmond, VA; three brothers- Anthony and James Murrow and Calvin Evans, all of Richmond, VA; mother-in-law, Willie Mae Richardson of Boydton, VA; two sisters-in-law, Shelia (Joseph) Hargrove and Vanessa Greene, all of Boydton, VA; two brothers-in-law, Donald (Kim) Richardson, Jr. of Richmond, VA and Sherman (Ramona) Richardson of Clarksville, VA; aunt- Rosa Williams; uncle- Elder Charles and Doris Allen, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
