Obituary For Mr. Matthew Holder

His Arrival Matthew Holder more affectionately known to family & friends as “Baby Bro” was born in Lamar County on January 31, 1956. He was raised by his parents the late Flora Lawrence Holder and Henry Holder. He was educated in the Lamar County School System. His Commitment to Christ Matthew at an early age confessed to Christ and joined the Shiloh Baptist Church His Commitment to Family Upon completion of his education, he was drafted into our United States Armed Forces. He was a man of many talents. He would often work various jobs in construction. He would be ready to render aid at the time it should arises. He was the father of one son. He will be remembered for the joy he shared with his family and his skills in checkers and playing cards. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Mrs. Imma Jean Holder Sanders, and a brother Rev. James Edward Holder. Matthew completed this earthly journey on June 4, 2021 His Family Matthew’s fond memories will live on in the hearts of his son: Mr. Alex (Katrina) Holder of Forsyth, his loving granddaughter Trinity Alexis( Precious) Holder of Forsyth. Sister Ms. Janice Puckett, brother Mr. Warren (Carolyn) Holder of North Carolina, Mr. Henry L. Holder of Griffin, Mr. Thomas (Ann Childs) Holder of Griffin, and a Sister-in-law Ms. Darlene Holder. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends who will all cherish his memory. Graveside Service were held Thursday, June 10, 2021 Shiloh Baptist Church
