Katie Starks Jones, 77, widow of Moses Jones, died Monday, June 14, 2021 at Sumter East Health and Rehabilitation Center, Sumter, SC. She was born November 23, 1943 in Summerton, SC, a daughter of the late Charlie Starks and Efra Gipson Starks.

Funeral services for Mrs. Jones will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, June 18, 2021 at the Taw Caw Missionary Baptist Church Life Center, 1130 Granby Lane, Summerton, SC. Rev. Dr. W. T. Johnson,Pastor. Rev. Dr. Willie T. Lawson, officiating, Pastor Bobby McDonald, Rev. Edrin Williams and Elder Willie Mood Starks, assisting. Burial will follow in the New Bethel Holiness Church Cemetery.

The family is receiving friends at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mozell (William) McCoy, 203 Fuller St., Manning, SC.
