Donna - or Suzy, as she was known to Family and friends – was born July 17th, 1946 in Bowie, TX to Jim and Donnie Marie (Case) Pittman. She was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Nanny. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her feel loved and important. She was a beloved member of the Nocona and Bowie community. She graduated from North Central Texas Collage where she earned her business degree. She went on to Bethania Regional Health Care Center to become a Home Health Nurse because it suited her servant heart. Donna was a longtime member of the Old Country Church.

Though Mom’s health was failing, few people knew the extent to which she struggled. Her joy for life and indomitable spirit kept her pushing through each day. It would be wrong to say that Mom lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Mom stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly looked like. There was no quit in Mom. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn’t mean she lost her fight.

She is preceded by her; Mother Donnie Pittman, Father Jim Pittman, Brothers Larry Pittman and Elgin Pittman and Sister Carroll Schafft.

Donna is survived by her Sister Rebecca Pittman; Sons Dewayne Hines and Jeremy Hines; Daughter Pammy Ralston; Grand Children David Hatley, Brittany Hines, Steven Baker, Katline Molner, Chris Hines, Bailey Hines, Mckenzie Hines; numerous great-grandchildren; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Arrangements entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home of Bowie, Texas.
