Obituary For Walter Edwards

Walter L. Edwards was born in Mobile, Alabama on December 2, 1976 to the union of Patricia Edwards and the late Winston Curtis Edwards, Sr. He exchanged this life for his eternal home June 10, 2021 peacefully at his residence.

Walter loved and cared for his family and was a very family oriented person. In his spare time, he enjoyed all sports, cars, especially football with other pastimes including fishing and hunting with his brothers and sisters and most importantly of all spending time with mother and his family.

Walter was a devoted son, uncle and friend, He will be truly be missed by all that knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Winston Curtis Edwards, Sr and two brothers, Rodney Pickens and Patrick Edwards.

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted mother, Patricia Edwards. A devoted companion, LaTonya Vaughn. Wife, Andrea Edwards both of Mobile, Alabama and a host of children. Three Loving sisters, Anita (Morris) Edwards, Arilyn and Lamiah Winters. Six Devoted and Loving brothers, Winston Edwards Jr, Azell (Mary) Edwards, Jeremy and Tygye Winters, Shelbie Davis and Corey Pickens. A devoted grandmother, Rosa Pickens. Two loving uncles, Donald Pickens of NY and Freddie Edwards of Mobile, Alabama . Six Caring Aunts, Jean Boone, Alisa Armstead and Sadie Edwards all of NY; Katie (Phil) Purcell of Atlanta, GA, Adella Lewis and Della Edwards both of Mobile, Alabama and a host of nieces, nephews cousins other relatives and friends two devoted, Henry Nunn and Mook.

His remains will lie in state Saturday June 19, 2021 at Mount Olive Missionary Church of Mobile, Alabama from 1pm until the 2pm Funeral Service. The Final tribute is entrusted to Samuel Jackson Mortuary, Ltd 271 North Cody Road , Mobile, Al 36608
