Mrs. Tonda Griffin Igbo, 55

Mrs. Tonda L. Griffin Igbo was born August 20, 1965 to the late Mary Frances McKinnie Griffin and Robert Peterson.

Tonda attended and graduated from the Brooks County School system. She continued her education at Valdosta Technical School, Georgia Military College and Park University. She was employed at Professional Case Management.

Tonda enjoyed traveling, jazz music, shopping and spending time with her loving husband, family members and friends. She departed this life on June 6, 2021. She will be dearly missed, but always remembered in a special way.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving husband, Chika Igbo; God sister, Stephanie Lewis; brothers, Cecil Robinson (Andrea), Ft. Pierce, FL, Anthony Peterson (Angela), Dixie, GA, Robbie Peterson (Shanicka), Jacksonville, FL; sisters, Shanyel Peterson, Quitman, GA, Patrice Peterson, Quitman, GA; uncle, Sylvester McKinnie (Pearline), Ft. Lauderdale, FL; aunts, Viola Griffin, Quitman, GA, Arrilla Frazier, West Palm Beach, FL; special and devoted cousins, Odie and Barbara Cook, Cassandra and Cecil Williams, Michelle Henry and Sheila Carter, all of Valdosta, GA and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at North End Cemetery in Quitman, GA with Apostle Odie Cook officiating. Condolences may be shared with the family by visiting stevensmcgheefuneralhome.com Stevens-McGhee Funeral Home of Quitman, GA was in charge of the arrangements.
