Obituary For Felecia Bronzell Gaddis

Obituary Felicia Bronzell Gaddis was born February 29, 1964 in Gadsden, AL to Willie C. Gaddis & Willie M. Young-Gaddis. Felicia was the second youngest of 11 siblings of which she was lovingly known as “Bronz”. As a child, Felicia was intelligent and outgoing. She was always sweet, kind, and took care of those around her. She accepted Jesus Christ at an early age. God’s grace would sustain and keep her throughout her entire life. She was the beloved mother of 5 children: Shundrika (Aaron) Clark of Birmingham, AL , Takisha (Benjamin) Payne of Gadsden, AL , Chantez’ Gaddis of Jonesboro, GA , Steven Gaddis of Austin, TX, Tyree Gaddis of Austin, TX. Felicia had 10 grandchildren whom she greatly adored: Zyiana Walker-Payne, Kelis Payne, Bailey Payne, Stephanie Gaddis, Simone Gaddis, Steven Gaddis Jr., Shamar Gordon, Syncear Weatherton, Sasha Gaddis, Savannah Barrera She is also survived by her siblings: Vanessa Brown, Virginia Gaddis, Carolyn (Freddie) Jackson, Jacqueline Simmons, Pricilla Frasier, William Gaddis; Two uncles, William Dixon of North Carolina and James Dixon of New York; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Felicia loved the Lord, music, dancing, and spending time with family and friends. Her passion was loving her family (especially her grandchildren). She never met a stranger and was always “the life of the party”. Felicia had the unique ability to encourage those surrounding her and captured the hearts of many people. Though she was at times, brutally honest, those who knew her also knew that she sincerely loved and cared for them.

Public visitation will be 4pm until 6 pm, Thursday, June 24, 2021 at West Gadsden Chapel. Funeral services 12 Noon Friday, June 25,2021 at the Morning Star Baptist Church, Attalla, burial will follow in the Forrest Cemetery.
