Obituary For Willie Mae "Boot" Love

Ms. Willie Mae Love entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Fort Valley Rehabilitation Center in Fort Valley, Georgia. She was born in York, South Carolina on March 31, 1937 to the late Beulah Mae Barnette Love and the late Willie Love.

“Boot” as she was affectionately called, was a former, faithful member of Fishing Creek Baptist Church in York, South Carolina before she moved her membership to Mount Zion Restoration Church in Gastonia, North Carolina. Boot was a textile work at Parkdale Mills for twenty-eight before her retirement. She was a loving, kind person and a joy to be around. Boot loved going to church and cooking. She will be truly missed by her children, grandchildren, other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother: Nathaniel Love; great grandchild: ArMari Jennings and sister-in-law: Virginia Love.

Boot leaves to be remembered and memories cherished to her daughter: Robin Love of the home; sons: David Love, Jr. (Malisa) of Ft. Valley, Georgia and James Love (Shawn) of Midway, Georgia; eleven grandchildren: Ty-Isha, Teeanna, Melissa, Anthony, Felissa, Marcus, Frederick, Sakerra, LaAsia, NaTisha and Ashanti; ten great grandchildren; special friend: Mrs. Jackie Leach and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Viewing at the funeral home on Friday; June 18, 2021 from 5 until 8

Funeral: Saturday; June 19, 2021; 12 noon; Mt. Zion Restoration Church, Gastonia

Visitation: thirty minutes before the service at the church

Interment: Kelly's Chapel Cemetery, Gastonia
