Obituary For John D. Howard

John D. "J D " Howard was born March 23, 1955 in Stringtown, Mississippi to the late Willie and Mary Howard.

He was educated in the St. Lucie County School system, where He graduated from Fort Pierce Central High School. He served in the United States Marine Corp and after being discharged, He took up the Trade of Landscaping where He excelled in the Craft for many years. He was the 'Lead Grounds Manager' for the Los Angeles Dodgers Spring Practice Field in Vero Beach, Florida. He enjoyed His work and was sought out to work His 'Magic' in landscaping at professional golf courses in North and South Florida Country Clubs before his health began failing Him.

John began His Life of the Spirit in 1989 while attending The Rock of Panama City, Florida under the Ministry of Pastor Aaron Smith and entered His Eternal Rest on June 11, 2021. He leaves to Cherish His Memory The Legacy of His Son, John D. Howard, Jr (Ava) of Tampa, Flor-ida; three Grandsons, John D. Howard III, Juwuan D. Howard and Jaekwon D Howard; one Granddaughter, Ava Latrice Howard; and one Great Granddaughter, Delilah Ventura Howard.

He is also survived by His Three Brothers Willie Howard, Jr of Peoria, IL; Charles Howard of Fayetteville, NC; and Joe Howard (Ruby) of Charlotte, NC; one Sister, Delores McClain (Kevin) of Fort Pierce, FL; and a Host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends. He was preceeded in death by His Mother Mary Emma Howard and \Father Willie Howard, Sr.

Funeral Services will convene on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL beginning at 11:00am.

Although many venues have opened and the restrictions of COVID-19 have been relaxed, we at Stone Brothers Funeral Homes are still enforcing the guidelines set forth by the CDC and FDOH to protect our families and our staff. We ask that you respect this, as it could very well save your life. We also ask that you acknowledge and execute the 6 feet social distancing guidelines as well.
