Obituary For Mr. Rashaun Keyontae "Doodle" Cummings

Mr. Rashaun Keyontae "Doodle" Cummings, age 17, of Cedartown transitioned June 16, 2021. Services for Mr. Cummings will be Friday, June 25, 2021 at 2 pm at First Baptist Church in Rockmart, Ga. The body will lie instate for 1 pm until the funeral hour. Interment will follow the service at Rosehill Cemetery.

Public viewing will be Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 2:00 until 5:00 pm at Morning Star Baptist Church.

This is heartbreaking to have to see his picture on this site and not to see his handsome face and beautiful smile. Rashaun was my son friend like a brother. He was so respectful and kind. I had just met this amazing young man. When he told me he was going to be going to the University of Tennessee I high fives him. I told him now I will follow you and even come to some of his games. What a bright and polite young man he was. Now you are holding God's hand and smiling with that beautiful smile. To the family of the late Mr. Rashaun Cummings, I would like to extend my deepest condolences. My prayers are with you all. I have known this young man since he was a toddler. Attending Vacation Bible School he was respectful, during Summer Enrichment he was playful and very smart, and during the Church, Youth Lock-In at Zion Hill, he was hilariously funny, staying up all night, making sure the adults did not go to sleep. He was such a great and respectful young man with an awesome smile. God has gained a loving angel and he is smiling down on everyone as he rests in God's loving arms. Rest in Heavenly Peace Rashaun.
