"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints." Psalm 116:15 I have memories of "Beecher" from childhood. He helped my dad on the farm in the Swift Creek area of Nash County during his early years. After leaving the area he always made his way back to Swift Creek MBC on special occasions and blessed us with a song. Prayers and condolences to the entire Williams family and Sister Hazel W Lewis. With sympathy, Erma Coley Maxwell & Eugene Coley

My wife and I extend our deepest sympathy to Junius' daughters and the rest of the family. I met Junius when we became roommates our freshman year at Hampton University (formerly Hampton Institute) in 1957 and have remained friends since. We played on the baseball team together at Hampton and Junius was like a big brother to me; he was 6'2" 215lbs. and I was 5'8" 165lbs. It always brightened my day every time we talked and I am grateful for our last conversation about a month ago when he called me. I am still grateful for the last in person time I was able to spend with Junius in May 2015 when his daughters brought him to the annual Hampton reunion. I thank God for his life and our 64 year friendship. Rest in peace my good friend. With love and sympathy Hugh & Joyce Turner

To the family of Deacon Junius H. Williams..,.I want to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. During my tenure at Ebenezer (1981-1986), I have many fond memories of Deacon Williams as a member of the Make Chorus. He taught me faith, endurance, patience and not to take what people say to you to heart! May his soul rest in peace and he's singing with the Heavenly Male Chorus!
