Obituary For George Sims

Memorial service for George Franklin Sims 71, will be Saturday, June 19, at 2 pm at the Anniston Funeral Service Outreach Ministry in the Russell H. Williams Memorial Chapel with Rev. William Crawford, officiating. Mr. Sims passed away on June 2, 2021 at Lineville Health and Rehabilitation. Mr. Sims graduated from Clay County Training School in 1968, and later from Alabama A&M Univeristy in 1972. He was a member of Nu Epsilon Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Pillars of Strength Lodge #2, Royal Arch Chapter #1 and the Knights Templar of Miami, FL. He retired from Sims Computer Service Company. Survivors include his wife:Marsha Sims; sons: George (Regina) Sims, Charles Sims, Darryl (Anai) Sims; brother: James E. (Sharon) Sims, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents,George Earl Sims and Mary Lizzie Bass Sims, sister, Gwendolyn Gail Ackles. Anniston Funeral Service Jeffrey C.
