Mrs. Mary E. Watson
Mary Elizabeth Sorrells Watson, transitioned from this life and entered into GodÂ’s glory on Monday, February 20, 2012. She was born in December 17, 1939 in Covington, Georgia and later moved to Atlanta. She was preceded in death by her parents L.B. Sorrells and Uvora Sims Sorrells; a sister, Lillian Jackson and her son, Timothy Watson. Liz was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. She later met and married Bobby Watson, who passed away in 1992. Liz enjoyed the finer things of life and polished her skills as a seamstress for many years. Later in life she worked as a secretary for a CPA. Liz resided at Sadie G. Mays Health and Rehabilitation Center, where she passed on to be with the Lord. As a member of Green Pastures Christian Ministry, she loved going to church, reading her bible and serving the Lord Jesus Christ. She will be missed.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory three daughters, Angela Watson, Debra Jones and Vickie Davidson; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph Sorrells and Rev. Clinton Sorrells, a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
