He will swallow up* death forever,+ And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.+(Isaiah 25:8). This prophecy tells us that one day death will be no more and we will no longer cry tears of sorrow but tears of joy because we will see our dead loved ones again! My condolences to you and your family on the loss of your dear loved one. Losing a loved one is a distressing and painful time. We have assurance from God’s word at Psalm 34:18 that he is near to those brokenhearted and he saves those crushed in spirit. It is my hope that your family will find strength to endure during the days ahead.

I am so sorry for your terrible loss. Your tears are seen from God above and he makes a promise at Revelation 21:4 that soon death will be no more. He will call out to your precious one and he will wake up. The effects of death will be reversed and you will be able to hold him once more. That is a promise from God!
