Obituary For Edward Bowie

Mr. Edward Bowie was born on February 13, 1937 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Julius and Angeline Bowie. He attended Blandtown Elementary and Turner High School.

At an early age, he acknowledged Christ in his life and joined St. Peter Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Dr. Solomon Randolph. He faithfully attended Sunday School and joined the Boy Scout Troop #188, under the leadership of the late Deacon Julian Moran. One of Edwards favorite sayings was "show me who you associate with and I will tell you who you are."

He was employed with Ventures Foods for twenty-six years and retired in August 1998.

Edward and Maurice Ann were united in holy matrimony on November 2, 1990.

He is survived by his living wife, Ann Bowie; two sons, Michael (Angela) Bowie, Angelo (Ramona) Bowie; two stepdaughters, Natasha Mahoney and Carol Favors; one sister, Christine Gibson; six grandchildren, one great grandson; one brother-in-law, Ernest McCrary; two special Godson, Toby McCarter and Willie Lawrence; one special Goddaughter, India Robinson; a host pf nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
