Obituary For Genevieve Lucas

Mrs. Genevieve Ann Lucas of Atlanta departed this life Wednesday, August 31, 2011. She was born July 14, 1949, in Chicago, IL to Gerald and Mary Edwards. She lived most of her life in Rockford, IL., before moving to Atlanta. She leaves to cherish many memories, son, Lonsine (Kimberly)Lucas; daughters, Nicolia Lucas and Aisha (Dan) Flores; granddaughters, Aihlla, Jourdan, Morena, Jada, Sarah; grandsons, Jared and Solomon; and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Grissom-Clark Eastlake Chapel, The Rev. Dr. Kary Harris will officate. Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Friday, September 2, 2011 at Grissom-Clark Funeral Home 227 East Lake Drive, Atlanta, GA 30317. 404-373-3191. grissom-clarkfh.com.

Sorry for the passing of your mother. She was a devoted mother and daughter. She is at peace with her maker, forever still watching over her children. I know she will be sadly missed. I have had some wonderful times with her. God is good. Kepping all her family in prayer.
