Donna Kathleen Thompson, daughter of Florine Carter and Urah Thompson was born on December 27, 1950 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

She attended the Penn Hills School District and Pittsburgh Job Corps in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She received a business certification from Duffs School of Business and went to work for Senator Arlene Spector. She was also employed by the United States Navy. She pursued a modeling career in New York City after graduating from Barbizon School of Modeling. Donnie was multi-talented in singing, acting and writing.

She devoted her life to Christ several years ago and could always be found exhibiting the love of Christ in smile or deed. She affected everyone with her smile.

Donnie leaves to cherish her memory, two children, December Thompson and Paris Thompson, Atlanta, Georgia; mother, Florine Carter of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; father, Urah Thompson of California; one grandchild, Sincere McDaniel of Atlanta, Georgia; very best friend, Lloyd Price of Manhattan; five sisters, Barbara (Harvey) Mahone, Ora (Jesse) Linesburg, all of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Lucille Pough, Jacksonville, Florida. Earnestine (Glenn) Troupe, Zilla Thompson, all of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; aunts and uncles, Olar (Sidney) Brown, Philadelphia, Pennsaylvania, Sam (Laura) Cunningham, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, Olivia (Rupert) Ambrose, Hyattsville, Maryland, and Jack Cunningham, LasVegas, Nevada; nine nieces and nephews; ten great-nephews; and a host of cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by two grandmothers, Viola Cunningham and Lucille Thompson; aunt, Vernice Cunningham; uncles, John Cunningham and Otis Cunningham; nephew, Eric Linesburg; and niece, Angela Mahone.
