Mr. Linwood Lamar, Jr. of Decatur died Thursday, February 2, 2012. He was the husband of Mrs. Rubenia Lamar. Homegoing celebration for Mr. Linwood Lamar, Jr. (Junior) of 3029 Pine Manor Court, Atlanta will be 11:00am Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Mt. Ephraim Baptist Church, 1202 W. Marietta St., NW, Atlanta. The Reverend Dr. R.L. White, Pastor. Reverend Lee Franklin, officiating. Mr. Lamar was the proprietor of Lamar's Barber Shop, 2041 Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway, Atlanta. The cortege will assemble at the residence at 10:00am. Interment Westview Cemetery. He was preceded in death by a son, Roy Milton Lamar. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving and devoted wife, Mrs. Rubena Lamar, children, Linda, Brenda, Darnell, Deborah, and Bernard; grandson Corey; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Tommy Neal (Joanne), a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
