Mrs. Rubena C. Lamar of Decatur died Sat. Nov. 29, 2014.

A service celebrating the life of Mrs. Rubena C. Lamar of Decatur will be 1:00pm Friday, December 12, 2014 at Mt. Ephraim Baptist Church, 1202 West Marietta St., N.W. The Reverend Dr. R. L. White, Pastor, officiating. Her body will lie in state one hour before the service. Interment, Westview Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence at 11:45am.

She was preceded in death by her husband Linwood Lamar, Jr. and son Roy Lamar. She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Linda Grier, Brenda Lamar, Deborah Collier; sons, Darnell Lamar, Bernard Lamar, Corey D. Lamar; sister, Joann (Tommy C.) Neal; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
