Dear Veleda, My heart is hurting for you and your family. I cannot imagine anything worse to face than the loss of your son. Please know that I am thinking of you every day, and praying that you and your family will gain the strength you will need to face life without him here with you. Just know that he is loving you just the same as he always did, and will see you again one day. Please take care of yourself, my friend. I will be praying for you.

You have my deepest heartfelt condolences. It is so hard to lose a child or someone so young. But look to God, family and friends, for strength and support to carry you through this. Keep his happy memories close to your heart. (Isa. 41:10) And keep your head up. Acts 24:15 says “there is going to be a resurrection”. We will be able to see Dontavious again on this earth. (Psalm 37:11, 29) I hope this brings you peace.
