Mr. Dontavious Demezio Brooks of Stone Mountain passed. Celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 1:00pm at Shy Temple C.M.E. Church Interment Resthaven Garden of Memorial. Dontavious Demezio Brooks (Buga), was born to Robert Lee Simmons, Jr. and Veleda Brooks in Atlanta, Georgia on February 25, 1991. Dontavious attended Atlanta Public Schools. While in school, he enjoyed playing competitive sports such as football with his peers. Under the leadership of his father, Dontavious began working as an apprentice at Simmons Towing, with hopes to operate his own towing company. Although Dontavious had a small frame, he was viewed as powerful. Always protecting his family, friends, and angone he encountered. Dontavious had a hard external, but possessed a beautiful soul and a smile to light any room. He always gave advice and searched for an understanding of life. Dontavious is proceeded in death by his brother, Robert Slaughter; uncles, Jasper Brooks, Jr. and Goldie Master Eubanks, III; aunts, Prynecess Simmons, Kimberly Simmons and Yolanda Carr. Dontavious is survived by his two daughters, Kylie and Summer Brooks; loving mother, Veleda Trinette Brooks; step father, Charles Carr, Jr.; father, Robert Simmons; step mother, Keisha Simmons; two sister, Egypt Brooks and India Carr; three brothers, Eros Davis, Julius McCarty and Robert Simmons III,; fiancé, Azaelia Green; grandparents, Jasper (Dora) Brooks, Sr.; Robert (Kathryn) Simmons, Sr; William (Jacqueline) Grant; five aunts, Crystal Eubanks, Cherlyn Roach, Yolanda Brooks, Oquita Bulbulia and Monica (Authur) Raymond Anderson; three uncles, Leonardo, Geowannio, and Sims Brooks; two God aunts, Titania Thomas and Donna Edwards; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends..
