Obituary For Nancy Ruth Wallace-Moore

Mrs. Nancy Ruth Wallace-Moore was born in Lowndes County, Columbus, Mississippi on January 1,1941. She was the daughter of the late Mrs. Magnolia Idella Hudson Wallace and Mr. Johnny Van Wallace. At an early age Mrs. Moore joined Canaan Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithfully for many years. She attended R.E. Hunt High School and was a memeber of the class of 1961 in Columbus, Mississippi. Mrs.Moore furthered her eduacation at Annie Laura School of Cosmetology . She worked as a Cosmetologist until her retirement in 1984. Mrs. Moore was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Robert James Moore, Sr., who preceded her death. To this union three sons were born, Robert James Moore, Jr., Curtis Edward Moore, Sr,. and Everett Lewis Moore. Mrs. Moore moved to Atlanta, Georgia in the early 1990's and joined Saint Philip A.M.E. Church. She was a memeber of the W.N. Griffin, Jr. Gospel Choir, formally Choir #2. She leaves to cherish her memory three sons , Robert J. Moore,Jr., Curtis E. Moore, Sr,. both of Atlanta,GA, and Everett L. Moore of East Point ,GA; brother, Bennie Will Wallace of Largo, FL; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; first cousin, Mrs. Angeline Lewis and her husband, Dr. Oliver Lewis of Atlanta, Ga; a host of nieces and nephews of the state of Florida, Columbus, MS, and Rhode Island, relatives and friends.
