George Blossomgame was born on July 3, 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late George and Ella Blossomgame. He was the youngest of five children.

He was joined in Holy Matrimony to Mozella Davis. To this union three children were born, Walter, Vanessa and Alan Blossomgame.

He leaves to cherish his memories two children, Vanessa Jackson & (James Young) Mr. & Mrs. Walter (Victoria)Blossomgame; two sisters, Alice Hambrick & Ida Bell Boyd, two brothers, Cody Blossomgame & Nathaniel Blossomgame, Eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
