Afterglow I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one. I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun; Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.

I am so sorry for your terrible loss. Your tears are seen from God above and he makes a promise at Revelation 21:4 that soon death will be no more. He will call out to your precious one and he will wake up. The effects of death will be reversed and you will be able to hold him once more. That is a promise from God! (John 5:28,29; Job14:14,15; Job 33:25) Jw.org

I am very sorry for your loss. It is not an easy time to go through. Talking about it with someone always helps, and their is no one better than God, he even gives us in the Bible Hope, in John 5:28, 29 where he promises to bring back to life our loved ones. And in Revelation 21:4 he promises us a better future where we won't suffer no more. To know more visit jw.org
