Obituary For Mrs. Ora Lee Langston

Ora Lee ("Little O") Langston was born September 19, 1965 in Holly Grove, Arkansas to the late Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Langston, Sr. She came from a large family where she was number ten in the bunch. She confessed a hope in Christ at the age of twelve and joined Mount Zion Baptist Church.

Ora attended Holly Grove Elementary and Middle Schools in Holly Grove, Arkansas. The family moved to Clarendon, Arkansas where she graduated from high school. She moved to Georgia in April,1985. While in Georgia, she met the late Dean Overton, Sr. Two children were born - LaAntonio Brandon and Sheana Marie Overton.

Ora was a free spirit, an outgoing person. She touched everyone and became instant friends with persons she came in contact with. She loved spending time with her children and friends. Willing to lend a helping hand to others. Ora was looked upon as a second mother to other children. She enjoyed old and new music on occasions when family and friends got together. It came very natural to "O" to fill a room with laughter and joy with her sense of humor and witty remarks. She made a lasting impression on everyone around her and will not be easily forgotten.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Willie Louis Luckydoo and Herbert Langston; one sister, Charlee Ann Langston.

Ora leaves to cherish her memory two children, LaAntonio Brandon and Sheana Marie Overton; her pride and joy, three grandchildren, Brandon Christopher Smith, Lindsey Nicole Belle Overton and Alexander Blue Overton; her three-year companion, Wayne Radford; three sisters, Bettie (Charles) Branch of Mabelvale, Arkansas, Alma (Curtis - deceased) Jefferies of Stone Mountain, Georgia and Lalisa (Troy) Whitman of Brinkley, Arkansas; five brothers, James L.
