James , whose nickname was “Jazz”, had many talents, one of which was fixing the unfixable, be it a car or a radio. He got the nickname “Jazz” from his parents, James Sr. (Lamar) and his mother, Jeanette Nance of Detroit. As a baby, he loved to dance. Born in Detroit, Michigan on April 14, 1973, Jazz relocated to Atlanta in 1992, at the age of 19. He was always driven by his vivid imagination, to want more in life.
