I would like to offer my condolences to the Brown family and also share a comforting scriptural promise that God is a refuge and strength in times of distress.(Psalms 46:1)

Dear Brown Family: I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved William. At John 11: 11 Jesus said Lazarus was sleeping in death. So those who have died are asleep in the grave. It is comforting to know that the dead are in God's memory, awaiting a resurrection. The resurrection at John 11: 1-44 was an example of what will soon take place around the world. Psalms 37: 9-11 highlights those earthly blessings. A few will go to heaven to rule as kings and priests with Jesus in a heavenly government noted at Revelation 7: 4-8. Revelation 7: 9 identifies the great multitude of possibly billions of people who will live on earth in paradise. For more comfort, please see jw.org. Thanks, J. L. Jones

“May the peace of God that surpasses all understanding guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 4:7) May the hope of a resurrection right here on earth bring you comfort. (Acts 24:15; Psalm 37:11, 29)
