My condolences in the loss of your dear loved one. When our loved ones die it pains our hearts. Our loving God Jehovah is aware of this and he comforts us by means of his word the Bible. Psalm 68:20 says; The true God is for us a God who saves; And Jehovah the Sovereign Lord provides escape from death. Also 1 Peter 5:7 says : While you throw all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you. May these scriptures help you to cope during this sad time.

We love Chris, Ingrid, Evelynn and Savannah so very much. Over this past year through soccer, our family has been very touched by you all and the beauty of Chris' spirit facilitated that relationship in a very kind and generous way. Thank you for allowing us to be even a small part of your lives.

I met Chris here at the Atlanta VA Medical Center back in January 2015. We worked in the same office together and talked all the time. He had pictures of his girls on his desk and that became a conversation. After we went virtual we sometimes chatted via online chat. We are Army Vets. Our prayers go out to the family.

We can not begin to understand what you and your family are going through but just know we are here for you always. Chris was a sweet, smart, funny and kind person and will be dearly missed. So sorry for your loss.

Koger Family, I wish I had a magic wand to ease the pain, but I do have a prayer vigil to provide comfort and understanding for your loss. Chris is a part of our Security Management Team in the VA and I had the pleasure of meeting him in 2015 when he came to the Salem VA Medical Center in support of their OIG audit and he will be missed. Time will be your friend, prayers will be your companion and the Lord will be your Light in times of darkness. James

You have my sincere condolences. “May the peace of God that surpasses all understanding guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 4:7) May the hope of a resurrection right here on a restored earth bring you comfort. (Acts 24:15; Psalm 37:11, 29)

To the family of Christopher Koger, I know loosing a love one is the worse things that could happen especially when it's at such a young age. Please find comfort in Jesus words at John 5:29 and Acts 24:15, where he speaks of a resurrection. By means of Gods Kingdom mentioned at Matthew 6:9,10, this resurrection will occur because God's will is for conditions on earth to be as they are in heaven. "Just a little while longer" and death will be no more (Psalm 37:10), so if we wait on God's promises we can see this come true. But in the meantime, we can throw all of our worries and concerns on Jehovah God (Psalm 83:18; 1 Peter 5:7).
