Celebration of life for Mr. Gordon B. Telford will be held Saturday, December 29, 2012 12:00 Noon at Columbia Drive United Methodist Church, 2067 Columbia Dr., Decatur, Rev. Dr. Walter Kimbrough, pastor officiating. Interment, Hillandale Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. to Noon.

Gordon Benjamin Telford was born Sunday, October 14, 1979 in Georgetown, Guyana to Mrs. Priscilla Goddard Telford and the late Rev. George B. Telford. Gordon grew up in the Corentyne region of Guyana and attended Rosehall Primary School and J. C. Chandisingh Secondary School. Gordon loved photography and worked at Channel 10 Littlerock Television station in Guyana as a news reporter/photographer. Young Gordon was a very friendly, loving and caring person. He loved sports and the outdoors, but his biggest passion was photography which he learned from his father. He immigrated to Atlanta, GA in October 2000 where he continued to pursue his passion in photography. Gordon leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Endyiah; his son, Benjamin; his mother, Priscilla; grandmother, Ketura Williams; brothers, Neil, Garfield, Mark and Graham; his sisters, Coreen (Conrad), Sandra, Brenda, Audrey and Beverly; his loving and devoted fiancé, Bianca and several aunts, uncles and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins other relatives and friends.
