Obituary For Mrs. Ora Stinson

Mother Ora Mae Bryant Stinson was born in Conyers, Georgia on May 25, 1931 to the late Sherman Emory Bryant and Rudean Wise Bryant. She departed this life to her heavenly home on August 5, 2015.

She attended Heritage elementary school in Decatur, Georgia and spent her childhood in the Edgewood Community in Atlanta, Georgia. She was married to the late Henry Charles Stinson and to this union five children were born.

Ora Mae was employed for many years at Gretchen’s, a children’s clothing store, as Sales Associate. Later

She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior as a young woman and served faithfully in many ministries, including Christ Tabernacle, St. John Apostolic Holiness Church and finally Christian Growth Ministries under the leadership of Bishop David Kinney.

She was a woman of many talents. She was a gifted seamstress, florist and cook. She loved to shop and had an eagle eye for fine antiques and knick knacks. She blessed her home and her church with many decorations that attest to her live for collecting.

Psalm 116:15 says Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. “The Lord has received His daughter and she is rejoicing in His presence with those who have gone before her.
