Obituary For Mr. Leonard Mathis

Celebration of Life of Mr. Leonard T. Mathis will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 1, 2010 at St. Philip A.M.E. Church, 240 Candler Rd., S.E. The Rev. George Moore, senior pastor. The Rev. Diana Kirk, eulogist. The body will lie instate one hour before the service. Interment 11:00 a.m. Friday at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Macon, GA.

Leonard Mathis was a tax auditor for the Georgia Department of Revenue.

Those who cherish his memory include his devoted wife, Phyllis Polite Mathis; loving sons, Leonard T. Mathis, Jr. and Phillip O. Mathis; father, Mr. Richard A. Mathis; siblings, Tina M. Ross ( Reginald), Richard A. Mathis, Jr. (Wilma), Gill L. Mathis, Margaret F. Fitzpatrick (Tyrone), Gregory O. Mathis (Iris), and Loretta R. Gordon (Vernard); mother –in-law, Mrs. Vivian Polite; other relatives, colleagues, and friends.
