Obituary

Wanda Gail Rhym was born in Valdosta, Georgia on December 26, 1959, to the late Talmadge Gosier and the late Corine Rhym. She attended Crosspointe Church. She was employed at Crackin’ Good Bakers for over 30 years and employed at Little Angels Preschool Childcare Center for 9 years where she enjoyed working with the children.

Our beloved Wanda Gail Rhym went home to be with the Lord on June 9, 2021. She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and caregivers during the last days of her life.

She was preceded in death by her father, Talmadge Gosier; her mother, Corine Rhym; her grandmother, Geneva Murray; her son, Adrian DeShon Rhym; her grandson, Adrian DeShon Rhym, Jr., her aunt, Dorothy Burgman; her brother, Curtis Rhym; her cousins, Lakisha Mathis and Howard Jenkins.

Wanda is survived by two devoted, loving, and loyal sons: Donta Daniels (Ruby) and Demarcus Rhym, Sr.; 7 grandchildren: Javonte Sherman, Jadarian Rhym, Tyran Smalls, Cameron Oneal, Javourous Daniels, Jr., Elijah Oneal, and Demarcus Rhym, Jr.; one loving and devoted sister: Janice Rhym; three brothers: Michael Rhym, Marcus Lynch (Evette), and Lewis Lynch, Jr.; two special nieces: Charlotte Stewart (Ricky) and Adriana C. Williams; two special nephews: Charles D. Smith, III and Stan Williams, Jr.; loyal and loving cousins: Sam(Elsie), Phyllis(Gary), Antoinette(Mack), Ginger(Mel), and Jackie(Earl) and a host of other special and loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She had three special, devoted friends: Stephanie Williams, Linda Motes and Veronica Strozier; and other special friends: Doris Gail Morrison, Alita Mitchell, Ann Marshall, Josephine Rainge, and Virginia Best.

A celebration of life will be Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 11AM at Grace Victory Church with Pastor Robert Daniels, Pastor and Pastor Dedrick Mathis, eulogist. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Continue to keep the family in your daily thoughts and prayers.
