REED - Maudie Reed, a resident of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on June 16, 2021. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 1PM at Faith United Miracle Temple, 1860 West 5th Street. Ms. Reed's remains will rest for visitation of family and friends on Friday, June 25, 2021 from 4-7PM at the MIXON TOWN CHAPEL of Q. L. Douglas Funeral Home, 2403 Edison Ave.

Mrs. Reed fought a good fight and kept the Faith, She was such a Jewel to me. I met her while working at Shands Hospital thru JTA Connexion . She treated me like her own, and She always had good spirit. She always told me when she was in the hospital I saw her again ,I'm OK . She was ask me have I spoke to her daughter ( Peacola) . She always had a great support team all the way to the end. Mom got her a new resting place running around and shouting. Thank You JESUS. We loved her but GOD loved her more. Andrea Smith ( JTA )

My sincerest condolences to Sis. Maudie Reed's family at this difficult time. I have fond memories of Sis. Maudie when I was a child at Faith United, short in statue but STRONG in spirit and character!! God's got her wrapped in His arms and she's at rest. You'll be missed and forever loved.
